EVENT RULES
- AS ALL THINGS SHOULD BE: This is a mixed spec race. Racers use the stats for GT4, GT5 BOP, and GT6 BOP.
- HEATED WHEELS: All racers go FLAT OUT each turn but gain no Focus. Course trajectory is laid out after the roll is made, and caution results are still observed.
- NON-ALCOHOLIC: This race is for fun and not meant to be too serious. Rules judgement and enforcement is relaxed accordingly.
- SEASONED FRIES: This event is worth Season Points, based on placement at the end of the race.

No surprise that Have Mercy is out in front trying to put some distance between himself and everyone else.

I can’t blame him. Mule and Devil look like they are coming into Corner 1 like bats out of hell!

Risk-taking so early? Will it work out better for them this time?

I wouldn’t say the risk has paid off yet with that massive bottle neck.

Looks like the GT-5s are having a fine time with it though!

Well, not for the Hammer! He loses control and crashes before the tunnel. He’s going to take some damage from that, too:

Hammer is back up and moving — and still ahead of Devil and Mule…

Well, Wheeler took that corner a bit too hard and he spins out. He was going slower than Hammer so no damage, but still not great for his tournament standings.

Swagger pulls a risky move trying to keep up with Have Mercy, and nearly avoids making it our third accident.
Fisher
Still reeling from the last one, Hammer has to stop short knowing he doesn’t have enough braking power left to slow down in time for the corner he’s approaching.

Wheeler is right on his tail, not able to get up to overtaking speed.

Oooh! Devil tries to recreate Swagger’s threading the needle move and doens’t pull it off as gracefully, getting caught up in the breakneck corner.

It’s okay, Wheeler diodn’t get much further ahead due to Mule blocking him back, so we’re at least seeing some diversity in results for this race.

Have Mercy locks down another easy 1st place.
Fisher
Devil was sweating enough for both of them, being able to move past Wheeler and that’s out it, keeping the Volvo P1800 pinned to the rear.

Swagger locks down second place, while Mule is taking what’s likely unneccisary risk trying to catch up.

You say that, but with Wheeler and Devil leapfrogging, it’ll be hard to say how this will shake out.
